AUBURN, Ala. — The Auburn Public Library has received contributions from the Auburn Alabama Public Library Foundation (APLF) to support upcoming initiatives at the forthcoming Auburn Public Library location on North Donahue.

At their July meeting, APLF allocated more than $21,000 to fund a variety of projects designed to enhance library services and expand programming opportunities for the Auburn community. These contributions will directly support initiatives that promote learning, creativity and community engagement including starting a Makers Lounge at the North Donahue location.

Funded projects include a ceiling mobile for the children’s section, children’s books, two sewing machines, a Chomp saw, a Cricket digital cutting machine, a Mahjong program and a Storywalk for each library location.

“We are so grateful for the support of the Auburn Public Library Foundation,” said Ashley J. Brown, Engagement and Outreach Librarian. “These funds allow us to expand our offerings to the Auburn community.”
