AUBURN, Ala. - On July 14, 2026, the Auburn Police Department arrested Zane Hanson Lynch, 22, of Auburn, Alabama, on the charge of possession of child pornography.

The arrest stems from an investigation into a tip submitted to the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force. The tip advised images of suspected child pornography were uploaded to the internet on April 12, 2026, in Auburn. After a thorough investigation, Lynch was identified as the suspect.

On July 14, 2026, Lynch was contacted by Auburn Police Department officers and transported to the Auburn Police Department. Arrest warrants were obtained and Lynch was taken into custody. Following his arrest, Lynch was transported to the Lee County Jail where he is being held on a $10,000 bond.

All defendants are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
