Four individuals arrested for unlawful breaking and entering, theft of property

AUBURN, Ala. - On April 5, 2026, the Auburn Police Department (APD) received a report of an auto burglary in the 300 block of Yukon Drive. Auburn Police aviation assets located four suspects hiding in the area, and an APD remote aircraft pilot was able to direct officers on the ground to the location of the suspects. Upon making contact, the suspects fled but were apprehended after a brief foot pursuit. The subjects were in possession of items stolen from vehicles in the area.
Andereka Lashavian Williams, age 18, of Lanett, Alabama, was arrested and charged with two counts of unlawful breaking and entering a vehicle and two counts of theft of property third degree. The other three subjects were juveniles and were each arrested and charged with two counts of unlawful breaking and entering a vehicle and two counts of theft of property third degree.
Williams was transported to the Lee County Jail and is being held on a $9,000 bond, and the juveniles were transported to the Lee County Youth Development Center.
