Due to an emergency water system repair, Old Stage Road will be closed to traffic between Opelika Road and the railroad crossing. Additionally, the eastbound lane of Opelika Road at the intersection of Old Stage Road will be diverted into the center lane and as a result traffic flow eastbound may be impacted.

The work is expected to begin at 10 a.m. and conclude around 5 p.m. Due to the closure of Old Stage Road, businesses on Old Stage Road should be accessed via North Dean Road.

Traffic control measures will be in place to maintain two-way traffic on Opelika Road throughout the work. Drivers are advised to use alternate routes to reduce delays.
