UPDATE, Jan. 20: The new traffic signal at the intersection of East University Drive and Stoker Street is expected to become fully operational on Thursday, Jan. 29, after the completion of road striping.

Motorists are advised to exercise caution as the community adjusts to this change.

AUBURN, Ala.- The new traffic signal at the intersection of East University Drive and Stoker Street will begin to transition to flashing mode starting Jan. 14. The signal will operate in a flashing yellow or red pattern for two weeks. Motorists should treat flashing yellow as a yield sign and flashing red as a stop sign.

Motorists should use extra caution during this transition period.
