AUBURN, Ala.- Moores Mill Road between Godfrey Lane and Sherwood Drive will be closed on Monday, Dec. 29, while the Water Resource Management Department makes sanitary sewer repairs in the area.

Work is expected to take place between 7 a.m. and 4 p.m. on Dec. 29. Intermittent lane closures are expected on Dec. 30 while crews restore the roadway.

All residences in the area will remain accessible during the work. Signage will be in place to detour motorists around the closure.

Drivers are advised to use caution and to take alternate routes to avoid delays. The City of Auburn appreciates the public's patience during this necessary infrastructure repair.
