AUBURN, Ala.- The Auburn City Council will hold a work session on Monday, Nov. 3, at 4 p.m. in the Buston Education and Meeting Center.

During the meeting, the council will review and discuss a draft ordinance that will appear for first reading on the Nov. 4 Auburn City Council agenda. The draft ordinance will outline a potential moratorium on the construction of multiple unit developments and private dormitory developments within the Urban Core and Urban Neighborhood – West zoning districts of the City.

This work session follows previous discussion from an Oct. 13 City Council work session and the Oct. 21 Committee of the Whole meeting.

The draft ordinance will be available by 5 p.m. on Oct. 31 in the City Council ePacket at auburnal.gov/agenda.

While work sessions are open to the public, there will be no opportunity for public input during this meeting.
