UPDATE, Dec. 5: The Ho Ho Ho Hike and Holiday Celebration originally scheduled for Saturday, Dec. 6, has been canceled due to weather and muddy conditions. All ticket holders will be contacted directly and given the option to receive a refund, receive a credit or donate their ticket fees to the Kreher Preserve & Nature Center.

Oct. 24: AUBURN, Ala.-  Santa Claus is coming to town! Children ages 12 and under are invited to this holiday celebration event on Saturday, Dec. 6, from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Kreher Preserve & Nature Center. Children are required to be accompanied by an adult ticket holder. Children 23 months and younger are FREE with the purchase of an adult ticket.

The cost is $15/person plus online fees for participants 24 months (2 years) and older. Make sure to purchase your tickets early, because this event sells out fast!

Tickets for this event will go on sale on Monday, Nov. 3. To purchase tickets, visit auburn.edu/preserve. A link to this website will also be posted on auburnal.gov/parks/programs/ho-ho-ho-hike. Please note that an adult ticket must be purchased first, then, a free infant ticket and/or a child ticket may be added to the adult ticket transaction.

The Ho Ho Ho Hike and Holiday Celebration begins at 10 a.m. The event will include nature-themed crafts, performances, cookies and hot chocolate. There will also be a special appearance by Santa and Mrs. Claus! The event will include the traditional hike and a fun “Santa-hunt”.
