AUBURN, Ala.- Auburn Parks and Recreation invites dog owners and their four-legged companions to celebrate the end of summer with a splash at the Dog Days of Summer Pool Pawty on Saturday, Sept. 20, from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. at Samford Pool. Admission is free with proof of current vaccinations.

This tail-wagging event gives pups the chance to paddle, play and cool off before the pool closes for the season. Designed exclusively for dogs, the Pool Pawty will feature:

• Doggy splash zones
• Treat stations
• Fun photo opportunities

To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience, all dogs must be accompanied by an adult and have proof of current vaccinations to enter. Please note that people will not be allowed to swim while dogs are in the water.
