AUBURN, Ala.- The community is invited to celebrate the grand opening of Ann Pearson Park on Monday, Aug. 25, at 10 a.m. Located at 1420 Shelton Mill Road, the City’s newest park is a 46.9-acre natural retreat nestled in northeast Auburn.

The park offers something for everyone, including:

• 2.5 miles of shaded trails winding through the woods with access to a creek.
• A playground designed for children ages 2-12.
• A covered pavilion and restroom building.
• An open play field.

Starting at 10 a.m. on Aug. 25, the park will be open from sunrise to sunset. Find more information at auburnal.gov/parks/facilities.
