UPDATE: Sanitary sewer discharge announcement from April 7

UPDATE, April 8, 2 p.m.: The City of Auburn experienced an additional sanitary sewer overflow on Monday, April 7, within the sewer collection system near 1736 Yarbrough Farms Boulevard due to heavy rainfall. Sewer personnel responded to the location and monitored the situation until the water level receded.
April 8, 10 a.m.: AUBURN, Ala.- The City of Auburn experienced a sanitary sewer overflow on Monday, April 7, within the sewer collection system near 389 Shell Toomer Parkway due to heavy rainfall. Another sanitary sewer overflow occurred within the sewer collection system near 807 Wrights Mill Road also due to heavy rainfall. Sewer personnel responded to both locations and monitored the situation until water levels receded.
