AUBURN, Ala.- Auburn Parks and Recreation invites the community to participate in the fifth-annual Eggcellent Easter Scavenger Hunt, set to take place Saturday, April 12, through Wednesday, April 16. The scavenger hunt will feature new clues and locations each day at various City of Auburn parks, facilities and partner locations.

A new clue will be posted daily at 8 a.m. on the Auburn Parks and Recreation Facebook page. Participants can follow the clue to the designated location for that day, where they will search for a hidden Easter egg containing a QR code. Scanning the QR code will lead them to the next steps in the hunt.

Once all clues at the location have been discovered, participants will be invited to enter their name into a drawing for a prize. Only one entry is allowed per person per day, but participants may enter each day of the hunt for additional chances to win.

Five winners will be randomly selected on Thursday, April 17, to receive a $25 gift card to a local business along with an Easter basket filled with treats and goodies.

“This event is a great opportunity for families and individuals to get outside, explore Auburn and enjoy some festive spring fun,” said Gabby Filgo, event coordinator.
