Auburn, Ala. - Lane closures on South College Street between West Longleaf Drive and East University Drive are expected beginning Wednesday, April 2. Lane closures will be in effect during daylight hours to facilitate a water main connection for a local business.

The center turn lane and northbound right lane will be closed from West Longleaf Drive to East University Drive. The eastbound turn lane from South College Street turning on to East University Drive will be closed. The only shopping center entrance expected to be closed is located between Shrimp Basket and Zaxby's. Work is expected to be completed this week, weather and other conditions allowing.

Traffic direction will be in place as needed to maintain two-way traffic and assist drivers around the closures. Motorists are advised to use caution in the area and to take alternate routes to avoid delays.
