Auburn, Ala. - A portion of Thach Avenue will be closed on Monday, March 10, through Wednesday, March 12, while a contractor makes sewer connections for Cedar Crest Annex.

Both lanes of Thach Avenue will be closed on Monday, March 10, from Armstrong Street to Chewacla Drive, from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Traffic control measures will be in place to direct motorists around the closure. Motorists will be detoured via Armstrong Street, Samford Avenue and Chewacla Drive.

Residences and businesses will be accessible during the work. Thach Avenue will be open for thru traffic after 5 p.m. each day.

Motorists are advised to use caution in the area and to use alternate routes to reduce delays.
