AUBURN, Ala.- The Auburn City Council is now accepting applications to fill one vacancy on the Auburn Public Library Board. The term will begin upon appointment on March 18 and end on April 14, 2026.

The Auburn Public Library Board works with the library director to review and formulate policies to provide the community with the best possible library service. The board also works with the library director in strategic planning for the library’s continued quality and sustainability.

Members serve four-year terms, and no special qualifications are required for appointment. The board meets the third Tuesday of every month at 10 a.m.

Those interested in serving are invited to apply online using the link at auburnalabama.org/boards. Applications will be accepted until 5 p.m. on March 10. The City Council will make appointments at its March 18 meeting.
