AUBURN, Ala. - The City of Auburn Parks and Recreation Department, in partnership with the Auburn Arts Association, invites the community to the inaugural Juried Ceramics Exhibition and reception at the Jan Dempsey Community Arts Center (JDCAC).

The exhibition will be open to the public beginning Feb. 27, with a free public reception on Thursday, Feb. 27, from 5:30-7:30 p.m. in the JDCAC Art Gallery and on the Ceramics Studio Patio. Guests can explore a stunning collection of ceramic works by local artists while enjoying an evening of refreshments, music, outstanding art pieces and an awards presentation. A special ceramic market will also take place during the reception, featuring handcrafted works for sale by talented independent members of the JDCAC Ceramic Studio.

The Juried Ceramics Exhibition will remain on display from Feb. 27 through April 11, Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
