AUBURN, Ala.- Road and lane closures are expected throughout Auburn on Sunday, Feb. 23, during the War Eagle Run Fest Half Marathon and 5K. Traffic impacts are expected to begin at 7 a.m., including the following closures. Please note, all times are estimated.

• The eastbound lane of Glenn Avenue will be closed from College Street to Dean Road from 7-7:45 a.m.
• The westbound lane of East Samford Avenue will be closed from South College Street to East University Drive from 7-9 a.m.
• The southbound lane of Wrights Mill Road will be closed from East Samford Avenue to Camellia Drive from 7:30-9 a.m.
• South Donahue Drive will be closed from West Samford Avenue to War Eagle Way from 7-11 a.m.
• West Samford Avenue will be closed from Mell Street to Wire Road from 7-11 a.m.
• Lane shifts will be in place on South Gay Street from East Samford Avenue to Camellia Drive from 7:30-9:30 a.m.
• Lane shifts will be in place on East University Drive from East Glenn Avenue to East Samford Avenue from 7-8:30 a.m.

Rolling lane closures are expected along the remainder of both routes until the races finish around 11 a.m.

Roads will reopen as soon as runners complete each section of the routes. Motorists are advised to use caution and to take alternate routes to avoid delays.
