Auburn, Ala. - A portion of Thach Avenue will be closed on Monday, Feb. 3, through Wednesday, Feb. 5, while a contractor makes water and sewer connections for Cedar Crest Annex.

Both lanes of Thach Avenue will be closed on Monday, Feb. 3, from Armstrong Street to Chewacla Drive. Intermittent closures with stop and go traffic will be expected for Feb. 4-5.

Traffic control measures will be in place to direct motorists around the closure. Drivers will be detoured via South Gay Street, Samford Avenue and Chewacla Drive.

Residences and businesses will be accessible during the work. Drivers are advised to use caution in the area and to use alternate routes to reduce delays.
