AUBURN, Ala.- A silo will be transported from McMillan Street in the Auburn Industrial Park to Innovation Drive in the Auburn Technology Park West on Monday, Jan. 13. The silo will be transported in an oversized trailer, which could cause traffic delays along the travel route. The move will take place after 9 p.m. to minimize traffic impacts.

The trailer will travel slowly along the following route: McMillan Street, Webster Street, Pumphrey Avenue, Shug Jordan Parkway, South College Street, Veterans Boulevard, Cox Road, Corporate Parkway, Riley Street and Innovation Drive.

The move has been coordinated with the City and other local authorities and utilities to help facilitate the transport, which will include temporarily displacing traffic lights and utility lines along the route. Motorists are advised to use caution in these areas and to take alternate routes if possible.
