Auburn, Ala. - The Auburn Public Works Department will be performing crack sealing through Friday, Jan. 10, as part of maintenance helping maximize the lifespan of local roads. The following areas will experience temporary lane closures during this work.
Areas of impact include:
- Richland Road from Shug Jordan Parkway to Andrews Avenue
- West Glenn Avenue from Toomer Street to North College Street
- East Glenn Avenue from North College Street to North Gay Street
- East Glenn Avenue from North Ross Street to North Dean Road
- East Glenn Avenue from Short Street to East University Drive
- East Glenn Avenue from Indian Hill Road to Skyway Drive
- North College Street from Tichenor Avenue to Warrior Court
- North Gay Street from East Glenn Avenue to Micham Avenue
- South Dean Road from East Park Avenue to McKinley Avenue
- East University Drive from Kent Drive to Annalue Drive
- East University Drive from Cricket Lane to Hampton Drive
- East University Drive from Old Mill Road to East Glenn Avenue
- Bent Creek Road from Hilton Garden Drive to I-85
- East Samford Avenue from Armstrong Street to Chewacla Drive
Traffic control measures will be in place to direct traffic around the closures. Motorists are advised to use caution while traveling in the area and to be mindful of crews working during this time. The City thanks the public for their patience as we ensure Auburn's roads are properly maintained.
