UPDATE, Dec. 13: Resurfacing work on Cornstalk Lane has been delayed due to unforeseen conditions discovered during the milling process and recent rainy weather. Work is now expected to continue late next week, weather permitting.

UPDATE, Dec. 4: Street resurfacing work on Cornstalk Lane is expected to be delayed until Friday, Dec. 6, weather permitting. Motorists are advised to use caution in the area. The City thanks the public for their patience as work continues.

Auburn, Ala. - A contractor will begin street resurfacing work on Cornstalk Lane Wednesday, Nov. 27, and will continue through Monday, Dec. 2, as part of the City's annual resurfacing project.

Intermittent lane closures are expected from Cheyenne Avenue to Dekalb Street. Traffic control measures will be in place to direct drivers around the closures, and all residences will remain accessible during the work.

Motorists are advised to use caution in the area. The City thanks the public for their patience as we ensure Auburn's roads are properly maintained.
