AUBURN, Ala.- Most City facilities will be closed Thursday and Friday, Nov. 28 and 29, during the Thanksgiving holiday. Downtown parking will be free Nov. 25-29 during Auburn University's Thanksgiving break with the exception of the Wright Street Parking Deck.

Public Safety services, including police and fire, will remain on their regular schedules.

Garbage, trash and recycling pickup routes for Thursday, Nov. 28, will run on Friday, Nov. 29.

The Auburn Public Library will close at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 27, and will remain closed on Thursday and Friday. Book drops will remain open, and the online collection is always available.

All Auburn Parks and Recreation facilities will be closed Thursday and Friday, Nov. 28 and 29. The Yarbrough Tennis Center will be open  8 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 30. All parks, playgrounds and cemeteries will be open sunrise to sundown.
