Auburn Police arrest man for assault second degree

Auburn, Ala. - On Nov. 7, 2024, Auburn Police arrested Isiah Kyles, age 59, from Auburn, Alabama, on a felony warrant charging him with assault second degree.
The arrest stems from Auburn Police responding to a call of an assault near the 1700 block of Wrights Mill Road on Sept. 8, 2024. Responding officers located a victim with a head injury resulting from being assaulted. The victim was transported by ambulance for medical treatment.
During the investigation, Isiah Kyles was developed as a suspect. Police also confirmed that the victim’s injuries required hospitalization.
An arrest warrant for assault second degree was obtained, and Isiah Kyles was arrested in obedience to the warrant on Nov. 7. Kyles was transported to the Lee County Jail and held on a $25,000 bond.
All defendants are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
