Three arrested on multiple charges

Auburn, Ala. - On Nov. 4, 2024, Auburn Police arrested Tyler Wendell White, age 26, Kaneisha Brinae Rodgers, age 28, and Henry Kimble Barton, age 58, all from Opelika, Alabama. Each was charged with three counts of unlawfully breaking and entering into a motor vehicle, two counts of theft of property third degree and theft of property fourth degree.
The arrest stems from officers locating a suspicious vehicle near the 2000 block of Downs Way during the early morning hours of Nov. 4. Officers observed the occupants of the vehicle attempting to hide. Police made contact with the vehicle occupants and identified them as Tyler Wendell White, Kaneisha Brinae Rodgers and Henry Kimble Barton.
An investigation was initiated, and stolen property was recovered from the vehicle. Officers located multiple victims in the area of the 2000 block of Downs Way who reported that unlawful entry was made into their vehicles, and property was stolen.
White, Rodgers and Barton were arrested for the charges associated with the auto burglaries. They were all transported to the Lee County Jail, and each held on a $13,000 bond.
