AUBURN, Ala.- Dumas Drive will be closed between the entrance to East Samford School and Sherwood Drive today, Oct. 21, while crews make an emergency repair to a damaged sanitary sewer main. Work is expected to begin at 12:30 p.m. and last approximately 10 hours.

Temporary lane closures are also expected on Tuesday, Oct. 22, while crews restore the roadway. Drivers are advised to detour around the closures using Moores Mill Road and Sherwood Drive.

Please use extreme caution while traveling in this area as workers will be present. The City of Auburn appreciates the public's patience during this necessary infrastructure repair.
