Auburn Police arrest man on multiple charges

Auburn, Ala. - On August 7, 2024, Auburn Police arrested Jarmarious Ja'Quan Woods, age 21, from Tuskegee, AL, on warrants charging him with fraudulent use of a debit/credit card and theft of property fourth degree.
The arrest stems from Auburn Police receiving a report involving fraudulent bank transactions on July 1. Officers met with a victim who reported their debit card was used to make several fraudulent transactions during a time period between June 26 and July 1. The fraudulent transactions included an unauthorized purchase made at a business located in the 2500 block of Buc-ee's Blvd.
Jarmarious Ja'Quan Woods was developed as a suspect, and after further investigation, arrest warrants were obtained. Woods was located by Auburn Police and arrested in obedience to the warrants on August 7.
Woods was transported to the Lee County Jail and held on a $2,500 bond.

All defendants are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
