AUBURN, Ala.- Lane closures on Mitcham Avenue are expected to begin Tuesday as part of a resurfacing project. Traffic control will be in place during lane closures to direct traffic.

An additional day of closures on Mitcham Avenue between North College and North Gay Streets is expected later in the week to conclude the resurfacing project. Details of the second closure will be announced when they are available.

Drivers are encouraged to use caution in the area.
