AUBURN, Ala.- Downtown streets will close for the Auburn Downtown Merchants Association's Cheers on the Corner on Friday, July 26.

Downtown streets will close at 5:15 p.m. and will reopen after the event and cleanup after 9 p.m. College Street will be closed from Thach to Tichenor avenues, and Magnolia Avenue will be closed from Wright to Gay streets. On-street parking along these roads will close at 3 p.m.

An entertainment district will be in effect during the event, allowing patrons to consume alcoholic beverages outside within the district perimeters. Beverages and containers must be obtained from participating downtown businesses.
