AUBURN, Ala.- Dumas Drive will be closed between Samford Avenue and the first entrance to East Samford School on Thursday, July 25, while the Water Works Board replaces a broken main line valve. Work is expected to take place between 7 a.m. and noon, weather permitting.

Some customers in the area will experience a water outage between 8-11 a.m. All affected customers will be notified via a hang tag.

Traffic control measures will be in place to notify motorists of the closure. Those needing access to Dumas Drive are encouraged to detour using Wrights Mill Road or Moores Mill Road.

Drivers are advised to use caution in the area and to take alternate routes to avoid delays.
