AUBURN, Ala.- Thinking of starting a business? Join the City of Auburn for the next entrepreneurship event, Streamlining Your Business Journey: Simplifying the Setup Process. The free event will be held on Wednesday, June 5, from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., in the Devall Room at 540 Devall Drive.

Join us for a panel discussion on steps to get your business going, including the process for obtaining a business license, permits, how to file and pay taxes and remitting personal property taxes. The panel will include City of Auburn Revenue Manager LaTrice Mose, City of Opelika Purchasing Officer Lillie Finley and Lee County Revenue Commissioner Oline Price.

Registration is required, and a complimentary lunch will be provided. Attendees are asked to register online by May 31. Attendees may submit questions for the panel during registration.
