AUBURN, Ala.- Street trees will be replaced at the following locations beginning on Sunday, March 24:

• West Glenn Avenue between Cox Street and Thomas Street
• Cox Street and Thomas Street between West Glenn Avenue and Genelda Avenue
• Genelda Avenue between Cox Street and Toomer Street
• Thomas Street and Toomer Street between Genelda Avenue and West Magnolia Avenue

Work will start at 9 p.m. to avoid traffic and pedestrian congestion. Depending on weather, work may resume on March 25, at 9 p.m. Work is not expected to impact traffic, but motorists are advised to use caution in the area during work.

The new trees will replace existing dead and damaged street trees.
