AUBURN, Ala.- The Alabama Department of Transportation will begin resurfacing work on North College Street Monday, Feb. 5, weather permitting. The project will include shoulder widening and resurfacing between Shug Jordan Parkway and U.S. Highway 280.

Lane closures and a reduced speed limit are expected throughout the project. Work is expected to last through spring 2024.

Motorists are advised to use caution in the area and to take alternate routes to avoid delays.
