AUBURN, Ala.- Mark your calendars, Day in Clay is back! The newly constructed Jan Dempsey Community Arts Center (JDCAC) Ceramics Studio will host the one-day open house on March 16 from 1-4 p.m. We encourage the whole family to visit our new studio, enjoy beverages, snacks and watch hand-building and throwing demonstrations by studio members.

Visitors who want the experience of working in clay can pay $10 per person and select either an adult or kids project to create. All projects are led by JDCAC Ceramics Studio members or staff and will be held every hour from 1-3 p.m. While we invite everyone to visit our studio, we have limited space available for those interested in creating with clay. All registrations for hands-on workshops can be purchased online starting Monday, Feb. 5. No hands-on workshops can be purchased at the door.
