South Carolina man arrested for receiving stolen property first degree

Auburn, Ala. - On Jan. 21, 2024, Auburn Police arrested Alfredo Ac Quib, age 51, from Gaston, South Carolina, on a felony warrant charging him with receiving stolen property first degree.

The arrest stems from Auburn Police locating a stolen vehicle while conducting patrol near 2500 Buc-ee's Boulevard on Jan. 21, 2024. Officers made contact with the occupants of the vehicle and confirmed that it was reported stolen through another agency.

During the investigation, it was determined that Alfredo Ac Quib was the occupant that maintained custody of the stolen vehicle, and the additional passengers were uninvolved with any criminal activity.

Alfredo Ac Quib was arrested and transported to the Lee County Jail to be held on a $5,000 bond.

All defendants are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
