AUBURN, Ala.- The westbound lane of Saugahatchee Road at the East University Drive intersection will be closed beginning Monday, Jan. 29, through Friday, Feb. 2, while work continues on the Annalue Drive & East University Drive Intersection Improvements project. Crews will construct the new median and sidewalk ramps.

Traffic will be unable to turn west onto Saugahatchee Road from East University Drive. Drivers may detour around the closure via Annalue Drive or Opelika Road. Eastbound traffic will remain open.

Motorists are advised to use caution in the area. The City appreciates the public's patience as we make needed improvements in this area.
