Parks and Recreation amenity closures expected during maintenance

AUBURN, Ala.- Several amenities at Parks and Recreation parks and playgrounds will be closed during maintenance, including:
Felton Little Park: The bathrooms are closed today, Jan. 10, due to a power outage. Crews are working to restore the power as quickly as possible.
Duck Samford Playground: The playground at Duck Samford fields 1-3 is closed today, Jan. 10, due to a broken tarp that covers the playground. The playground will reopen once the tarp is repaired.
Kiesel Dog Park: The large dog park at Kiesel Park is closed for renovations beginning today, Jan. 10. Work is expected to be complete by next Friday, Jan. 19. The large dog parks at Dinius Park and Town Creek Park remain open, and the small dog park at Kiesel Park has reopened following renovations.
Water Fountains: All water fountains at Auburn Parks and Recreation's parks and outdoor facilities will be shut down for winterization beginning Friday, Jan. 12. The water fountains will be available again once warmer weather returns.
