UPDATE, Dec. 11: Paving will continue on Martin Luther King Drive today, Dec. 11. Lane shifts are expected between Webster Road and Solamere Lane between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Motorists are advised to use caution in the area.

Dec. 6: AUBURN, Ala.- A contractor will pave Martin Luther King Drive at the intersection of the new Will Buechner Parkway (between Webster Road and Solamere Lane) on Thursday and Friday, Dec. 7 and 8. Lane shifts are expected during work, which will take place between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.

Traffic control measures will be in place to help direct traffic around the closures. Motorists are advised to use caution in the area and to take alternate routes to avoid delays.
