AUBURN, Ala.- Lane closures are expected on East Samford Avenue beginning Monday, Nov. 27, through Dec. 7, to facilitate Alabama Power work.

During the week of Nov. 27-Dec. 30, the eastbound lane will close intermittently between Dumas and Brookwood drives. Between Dec. 4 and 7, the eastbound lane will close intermittently between College Street and Dumas Drive. One lane will remain open at all times, and traffic control measures will be in place to maintain two-way traffic.

Work is expected to take place outside of peak school traffic times. Motorists are advised to use caution in the area and to take alternate routes to avoid delays.
