Lanett man arrested for multiple charges

Auburn, Ala. - On Oct. 29, 2023, Auburn Police arrested Zachary Tyler Holloway, age 25, from Lanett, AL on warrants charging him the burglary third degree, theft of property first degree, and attempting to elude a police officer.
The arrest stems from Auburn Police responding to an alarm at a business located in the 200 block of North Ross Street. As officers arrived, a suspect was observed exiting the business through shattered glass on the front door. The suspect had on a mask and was in possession of merchandise stolen from the business.
The suspect fled on foot and dropped the stolen property. Officers apprehended the suspect during a search of the area, and he was identified as Zachary Tyler Holloway. After further investigation, Holloway was charged with burglary third degree and attempting to elude a police officer. Holloway was additionally charged with theft of property first degree after the value of the stolen property was determined.
Holloway was transported to the Lee County Jail and held on an $11,000 bond.
All defendants are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
