Auburn residents invited to provide input on City branding initiative
September 27 2023AUBURN, Ala.- The City of Auburn is looking for the public’s input as it embarks on a research-driven, community-wide branding initiative.
The City will host a Community Creative Workshop on Thursday, Oct. 5, from 5:30 – 7 p.m. at the Buston Education and Meeting Center at 161 N. Ross St. The workshop will include information about the initiative and will give attendees a chance to provide input about Auburn’s unique character. Auburn residents are invited to attend.
The workshop is one of the first steps in the branding initiative, beginning with research and input to help uncover Auburn’s authentic identity. While this is a branding project for the City of Auburn as a municipal government, the City’s brand must reflect Auburn’s identity and reputation both as a government and as a community.
This research will serve as the basis for developing the tools to help us represent the City and tell the Auburn story in ways that resonate with residents, visitors, businesses and other stakeholders.
“As we kick off this branding initiative, it’s vital that we hear from those we serve so that they can share their thoughts on what defines Auburn,” said Auburn City Manager Megan McGowen Crouch. “I hope residents will share with us what makes Auburn special to them.”
