AUBURN, Ala.- The outside westbound lane of Opelika Road will be closed overnight on Thursday, Aug. 24, near the entrance to Niffer's Place between Gentry Drive and Saugahatchee Road. Work to install new storm and sewer lines is expected to begin at 8 p.m. and finish by the early morning on Friday, Aug. 25.

Traffic control measures will be in place to help direct motorists around the closure. Drivers are advised to use caution in the area.
