AUBURN, Ala.- Beginning Tuesday, Sept. 5, Country Club Road will be permanently closed to traffic as part of work to extend the Auburn University Regional Airport's runway safety zone.

Traffic control measures will be in place beginning next week, Aug. 21-25, to notify motorists of the pending closure. Drivers are advised to find alternate routes moving forward. Saugahatchee and Airport roads will remain open.
