AUBURN, Ala.- Two new parking kiosks have been installed along South College Street between Magnolia and Thach avenues. These parking kiosks will become functional on Aug. 16 when the free parking period ends.

At that time, on-street parking along South College Street between Magnolia and Thach will match other downtown on-street parking at $1 per hour, Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Parking will be limited to two hours. Downtown visitors may pay via a kiosk or the ParkMobile app.

Parking in this area was previously metered until mechanical meters were removed because replacement parts were no longer available to maintain the meters.
