UPDATE, Aug. 15: Crews will continue constructing crosswalks at the intersection of College Street and Miller Avenue/Roosevelt Drive next week, Aug. 21-28. The inside northbound and southbound lanes will be closed throughout the week, but two-way traffic will be maintained at all times using the outside lanes.

Motorists are advised to continue using caution in the area and to take alternate routes to avoid delays.

Aug. 4: AUBURN, Ala.- Closures are expected at the intersection of College Street and Miller Avenue/Roosevelt Drive while crews construct the crosswalks as part of the South College & Samford Avenue Intersection Improvements project.

Work at the intersection of Miller Avenue/College Street is expected to take place Monday, Aug. 7, through Aug. 11. Miller Avenue will be closed to through traffic at College Street during work. Local traffic will still have access to Miller via Gay Street.

Work at College Street and Roosevelt Drive is expected Monday, Aug. 7, through Aug. 15. Lane closures are expected, but two-way traffic will be maintained at all times.

Motorists are advised to use caution in these areas and to take alternate routes to avoid delays. The City thanks the public for their patience as we make improvements in this area.
