AUBURN, Ala.- The intersection of Martin Luther King Drive and North Donahue Drive will be closed beginning at 6 p.m. on Sunday, July 30, through 5 a.m. on Monday, July 31. The contractor will make a water connection for a new water main as part of the Martin Luther King Drive Streetscape Project.

MLK Drive/Bragg Avenue will be closed to through traffic between Boykin Street and White Street, and North Donahue Drive will be closed between Glenn Avenue and Drake Avenue. Detour signs will be posted to help drivers navigate around the closure.

A water outage is expected for some customers between 7 p.m. and midnight. Addresses affected include 340, 327 and 353 N. Donahue Drive, and customers will be notified. The City thanks the public for their patience as we improve our infrastructure.
