Auburn, Ala. - On July 24, 2023, Auburn Police arrested Abdul-Malik Waleed Davis, age 25, from Auburn, Al on felony warrants charging him unlawful breaking and entering into a motor vehicle and theft of property second degree.

The arrest stems from Auburn Police receiving a report of an auto burglary on July 21. A victim reported that an unknown suspect made unlawful entry into a vehicle and stole property. The auto burglary and theft occurred on July 21 near the 1600 block of South College Street.

Abdul-Malik Waleed Davis was developed as a suspect and after further investigation, arrest warrants were obtained. Police located Davis on July 24 and he was arrested in obedience to the warrants. Davis was also arrested for a failure to appear warrant unrelated to the auto burglary.

Davis was transported to the Lee County Jail and held on a $6,500 bond.

All defendants are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
