UPDATE, July 24: Lane closures are expected to continue this week, July 24-28, during Alabama Power work along Magnolia Avenue, Burton Street, East Glenn Avenue and Ross Street. Motorists are advised to continue using caution in these areas and to take alternate routes to avoid delays.

July 14: AUBURN, Ala.- Lane closures are expected on portions of Magnolia Avenue, Burton Street, East Glenn Avenue and Ross Street next week, July 17-21. Alabama Power will make system improvements in the area between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. each day.

Traffic impacts are expected on:

• East Magnolia Avenue between Gay and Burton streets.
• Burton Street between East Magnolia and East Glenn avenues.
• East Glenn Avenue between Burton and North Ross streets.
• North Ross Street between East Glenn Avenue and the railroad tracks.

Traffic control measures will be in place to help motorists navigate around the closures. Drivers are advised to use caution in the area and to take alternate routes to avoid delays.
