City launching new notification system for utility accounts
May 11 2023
AUBURN, Ala.- The City of Auburn's Utility Billing Office is launching a new way for water, sewer and garbage customers to receive notifications about their accounts and services. Customers will now have the ability to receive information via email, voicemail or text message about City of Auburn utility concerns, payment due dates, disconnection notices and water outages.
Beginning the week of May 15, all Water Works Board customers will receive a message from the City requesting that they update their contact information. This will help ensure that each customer has access to the most up-to-date information. Emails will be sent from noreply@notify.auburnalabama.org, and voicemails will be sent from 334-501-3050.
All customers with valid contact information will automatically be enrolled to receive text and/or email notifications to the phone number and/or email they provide. Please note, customers' existing contact information will be used to enroll them in the new system unless they make updates to their information. To unenroll from a contact method, customers may contact Utility Billing at 334-501-3050 or serviceorders@auburnalabama.org.
