AUBURN, Ala.- On Monday, March 27, the Alabama Department of Transportation will begin improvements on Shug Jordan Parkway between Richland Road and the entrance to the Army National Guard Armory. The project will include adding a center turn lane and extending a culvert along with widening, resurfacing and striping the roadway.

Intermittent lane closures are expected during the project, which is expected to be completed this summer. Motorists are advised to use caution in the area and to take alternate routes to avoid delay.
