Road closures expected Feb. 26 during War Eagle Run Fest

AUBURN, Ala.- Lane closures are expected throughout Auburn on Sunday, Feb. 26, during the War Eagle Run Fest Half Marathon and 5K. Traffic impacts are expected to begin at 7 a.m., including the following closures:
- The eastbound lane of Glenn Avenue will be closed from College Street to Dean Road from 7-7:45 a.m.
- The westbound lane of East Samford Avenue will be closed from South College Street to East University Drive from 7-9 a.m.
Rolling lane closures are expected along the remainder of both routes until the races finish around 11 a.m. Roads will reopen as soon as runners complete each section of the routes. Motorists are advised to use caution and to take alternate routes to avoid delays.
